I lived 27 months of my life in the Central African Republic. One of my good friends, Tambo Olivier, lives in Bangui and his son is named Tambo Scottmcbride. Ive spoken to Scottmcbride and his father on the phone over the last 10 years from time to time, and was able to do that because at least CAR had a weak, but functioning economy where telephones (and sometimes computers) worked. Now? I have very little idea how Olivier or anyone else is doing, and admittedly, the whole thing weighs on me. If you say any prayers today, please include the 4.3 million people of CAR when you do. Thank you.
