I long for the day when people will see each other not as individual races. But as one human race. In order for this to happen we must let go of the past hurt and bitter feelings, and hold on to the love of Jesus Christ. We must remember that the two greatest commandments that have ever been given in the Bible are LOVE GOD WITH ALL OF YOUR HEART AND LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF! I think the first commandment is self-explanatory and needs no further comment for anyone to understand what that means. Lets take a look at the second command and really dig deep into it and ask ourselves to simple questions: 1. If I love my neighbor as myself would I steal from him? 2. If I love my neighbor as myself will I assault him? 3. If I love my neighbor as myself will I be rude to him? 4. If I love my neighbor as myself, will I treat him with disrespect? 5. If I love my neighbor as myself will I tried to cheat him? 6. If I love my neighbor as myself, will I try to steal his wife? 7. If I love my neighbor as myself, will I try to kill him? 8. If I love my neighbor as myself, will I do anything to him that does not radiate love? 9. If I love my neighbor as myself, will I gossip about him? Every one of us of been born once and we will die. After death comes judgment and will have to give an account for all of our actions and words. So today, you might think about the two greatest commands as you go about your daily life and ask yourself is the actions or things that Im about to do worth the judgment and the account that Im going to have to give for everything thats not covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.
