I look forward with excitement to this new year. Our focus in education this year will be on, inter alia, early childhood education (making our children literate by grade four), attaining universal secondary education, improving hinterland education and bettering our delivery of education, at all levels, all across the country. I hope to see gains made in attaining gender equality which once achieved/improved I am absolutely sure will realize a reduction in domestic violence and rape and other forms of domination and subjugation of women. I am counting on and know I will have your partnership and support, your inspiration of me and your usual passionate input and guidance and healthy criticisms on the various issues we shall encounter as a people.
