I look to music in times like tonight. I try to think of all the good in the world. I think that we as a nation can - and will - fix these broken things, even if its slowly. I hope the end result of these moments in time are peace, justice, equality, civility, understanding, and harmony. I hope this right now is not the best of us, but that the sadness of the situation - and the conversations it will lead us to - will bring about changes to make us all better people. It may be naive, but its all I have right now to stay optimistic. May we all find some sliver of light in this mess - here is mine.
