I lost a Facebook friend tonight. Author of a new book, which educates parents on how to vaccinate safely. Ive never been part of the in crowd. I dont have political aspirations. All I care about is educating parents about the dangers of vaccines. I spend many hours each day working to educate parents about vaccines and I have never received a penny in return. I am not in this for the money. I am not in this to make friends. I am in this to hopefully cause people to think, and hopefully as a result, they will avoid the pain so many of us have endured as a result of our kids injuries. Speaking the truth sometimes means going against the goals of others in our own camp. This is not personal. Its about the kids. And its about the truth. Period. I dont understand why anyone with a vaccine-injured child would write a book with the purpose of telling other parents how to vaccinate safely. As another parent of a vaccine-injured child commented on the 12/20/14 Midweek Mashup on Age of Autisms website... Parents and advocates of children who have suffered vaccine-injury, writing a book about how to vaccinate safely, is akin to Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) writing a book on how to safely drink and drive. There may be a percentage of the population for whom the book makes sense and resonates... but those whose children were killed by drunk drivers probably wont accept it well. I agree.
