I lost another friend and Howard University colleague, Ms. Dana L. Lawrence yesterday. Dana, it was a pleasure knowing you my sista. We will surely miss you!!! AP Wow. These moments remind me how important it is to live each day to the fullest and to take the time everyday to appreciate family, friends, and loved ones. Tomorrow is just not promised for any of us. However, I want to encourage you to think about how you are using your time on the planet. Continue to discover your best self. As Motivational speaker, Les Brown would say, live full and die empty. As I contemplate the small moments Ive shared with Dana, now that she is gone, those small moments seem to resonate with a higher frequency. Those small moments mean so much more. Those are the only small moments I get to have. But she lives on in the memories of those who knew and loved her. She will be missed. Dana, May you rest in peace. Antonio Parker
