I lost my best friend since before 5th Grade today. Buster was born on my parents bedroom floor, he was the first of the Litter to be born and I picked him right away, or he picked me, I still have yet to figure that out. He has been my friend when I needed one, my confidant when I needed to talk to someone and my Doctor when I was sick, as well as my protector whenever somebody strange would come to the house. He has never left my side or the sides of anyone else in our family. After he was born he had issues with his hips and had a hard time walking, so I sat there in the floor with him for hours on end just helping him stay balanced until he finally could walk like his brothers and sisters. He was always the best at finding the biggest branch laying in the yard and running around with it just to show off to everyone and he always made sure to recover any loose baseballs that I may have knocked into the woods. He was the best at giving out high- fives with a big grin on his face and then try to steal the food off of your plate at the same time. Time spent outside just sitting with him were always the best times, just sitting around and having little conversations. I SWEAR he could understand every word I would say just by the look on his face. Buster is the best dog, as well as friend that I expect I ever will have in my entire life, and I already miss him dearly. You are a tough Old Man Buster Brown! As Well as a Gentleman and a Scholar. I love you so much buddy.
