I lost my grandmother to ALS many years ago. Growing up, she lived - TopicsExpress

I lost my grandmother to ALS many years ago. Growing up, she lived only a few houses away from us so I would visit her almost every day if she wasnt with us. Even as she began to fight Lou Gehrigs she would always want to make up a glass of my favorite chocolate milk for me up until her hands gave out. And even though all my memories of her were while she was ill, I never remember her being bitter. She was a fighter and it broke our hearts to slowly lose her each day. I am glad to see so much awareness is being brought to ALS. I took the #ALSIceBucketChallenge for my Nana, the people who have lost their loved ones to ALS, and the ones who face it now. I nominate my sister Maddie, Before You Exit , Cimorelli , and #meganizers to take the challenge! Will you accept? Challenge accepted from Brian Logan Dales and my Aunt Deb! alsa.org/donate/
