I lost one of my best friends today…My little dog Beta has passed although I have a whole in my heart I know she is now youthful and flawless forever (the most Beta reference for Tonie Hanson Heidi Andre and Janna Ford). After 15 years she decided it was time and lay peacefully surrounded by friends and family in her favorite bed and my sweatshirt while the loving team at Kirkland Animal Emergency Hospital kept her comfortable and my bestie Janna held her and comforted me. I was able to make it back to be with my family and friends and in my home only because of the endless efforts of my amazing husband Ryan Leopold who was like Planes Trains and Automobiles in his quest to get me home to be with her. She spent her life bringing comfort and joy to anyone who met her. She was a famous greeter at Flawless Beauty Bars as well as an honorary member of the 2003 SeaGlas squad. My heart is broken tonight, and as I heal I will be back in touch with everyone and back to the job I love! Thank you to everyone who has been there for me and who has loved my Beta! She will be missed terribly! She will have a donation made in her name at The Seattle Humane Society as a reminder to everyone that adopted pets are the very best pets.
