I love Valdani products and I use their floss and other threads in my work...especially the 3 strand variegated Valdani floss. Most folks stitch with one or two strands but I use all three in my cross stitching as I sand and age my pieces after they are completed....using all three strands makes the stitching a little more durable so the design can withstand the punishment of distressing and aging. The above piece is called Paulas Heart and it is one of my favorites. On the front of the linen heart is a cross stitched antique P monogram pattern. I love how the pink variegated Valdani floss looks so old and faded.
