I love Wellington, the beautiful city and the lovely friendly people. Marty, Vicky( my student from Tiawan) and I have just had an awesome feast at my neighbour Graham Meiklejohns apartment. He has a student Victor from Western China and tonight he prepared for us a Chinese Hotpot from his provence. It was delicious, not as spicy as I thought it would be, but I was very cautious with the seasoning called the Godmother. Marty really enjoyed it very much. It consisted of a large wok of very fragant seasoned oil and you cooked whatever you fancied in it. We had beatifull beef, a variety of seafood and different Tofu. A very socialable occassion. thank you Graham for your hospitality and thank you Victor for sharing your culture with us.
