I love You, but not because I have to. You gave me free will, and at times in the past, I have used that free will to despise You. I am eternally sorry for that. I believed the lies and blamed You for things that were the enemys fault, and many times, MY fault. I love You, not because I have to, but because I now realize You were there in my darkest hours. You were there keeping a hand of protection on me, so that I lived and did not die in my sin and foolishness. I love You, not because I have to, but because I see You working in and through me. I see Jeremiah 29:11-14 happening in my life. I see Your hand guiding my life, sometimes clearly, and sometimes I just have to close my eyes and take a leap of faith. Either way, You always make things right. I love You, not because I have to, but because I WANT TO. I want to live out my days in Your service, walking with You, singing Your praises. I love You. You are my God.
