I love art; good art. Just because something is graffiti does not mean it is without artistic merit. Around my neighborhood, along the future Bloomingdale Trail, there was some spectacular graffiti. Im not talking about gang signs or some taggers name. It was art, in the truest sense, and was done by some talented people. Today, crews working on the massive trail project spent ALL DAY sandblasting those murals off the concrete walls at the base of the railroad tracks. Forget about the fact that it was an exercise in futility, since it will be back...hopefully. They spent good taxpayer money to destroy art which was beatifying the neighborhood. Thanks a lot, jerkfaces.
