I love asparagus! The absolute easiest way to cook it is like this: Wash it and bend the stalks in half until one end breaks off. Thats the bitter end and by cutting it, you will never know where that end stops. Let it snap off itself. Next drizzle evoo on a pan and lay stalks in a single layer and add some salt and pepper. Cook at 400° for 5 min. Shake the pan so the stalks turn and flip. Make sure its single layer again and put back in for another 5 min. They should come out perfect every time! Still a little crisp and yummy but NOT soggy. Mmmmm :-)
