I love buddy movies, Beverly Hills Cop, heck I even liked Tango and Cash. So I really wanted to like The Heat. Two great comedic actresses, Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, star in this flick. It was boring and predictable. The two leads tried their hardest, but this movie was a perfect example of substituting F-bombs for clever dialogue. At least 20 minutes too long, if you accept the premise of the movie to begin with. And there is supposed to be a sequel.
