I love having musical taste that makes people with contemporary taste cringe. They think its insulting when they say that my taste sucks, but they dont realize that I dont interpret it that way. Their words reflect their own character and judgement and it only manages to reassure that my taste in music is legitimate and unbiased while theirs is not. Ive heard too many people exclaim That music is outdated. Let me tell you one thing for sure... music doesnt get outdated, thats an awfully ignorant thing to say about something as objective as poetry. People still listen to and marvel at Bach, Prokofiev, Richard Wagner and so on. And The Misfits, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, are no different... also Van Halen, The Scorpions, Motorhead, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden and many more. Its all music that will live on immortally as long as educated musicians walk the earth. This is my favorite classical piece.
