I love hearing great guitarists play acoustic. Something about it brings you to a much more peaceful state. But of all the guitarists Ive heard in La Salle, this one inspired me to pick up my guitar again. I was passing through Gokongwei about two weeks ago to get a free slot in the computer labs in the third floor. As I got to the third floor, I heard a really cool acoustic song being played on the guitar. At first, I thought it was from a cellphone but after listening for a few more seconds, I realized its someone playing live for real. The song sounded familiar so I decided to follow the sound and I realized it was coming from the fourth floor. So I went upstairs and continued listening. I realized it was a really cool John Mayer song (big fan of JM) called Neon and the guitar sounded great. I knew how hard it was to play that song so I was really amazed by how well the song was being played on an acoustic guitar. I continued listening for a few minutes not realizing that I forgot I had to go to the computer lab. I left as soon as the song finished but I wanted to see who the guy playing was. So I casually passed by and saw a guy wearing glasses wearing a green collared shirt and his friend wearing a grey t-shirt. I didnt recognize them so I just went down back to the third floor and got to a free lab. But it was that day that I was really inspired to pick up my guitar and start learning how to play again.
