I love how the owl turned out--I think this is my new favorite creation! I spent a long time deciding how best to display the "oak" locket, and in the end, settled on using little bits of lots of different things: silk cord, ribbon, brass chain--which I wove together and hung with polymer clay leaves, acorns and mini branches. I also added gorgeous Czech glass beads I found at "Beads on Parade" in Spotsylvania because the colors were so perfect, and I thought the necklace needed a little dressing up. Love it! :-)
