I love it. God’s Word, What frightens me are insensitive people, who give no credit to God, but strut in their arrogance with no awareness of the supernatural, no respect for God or their fellow man. God’s Word says in II Peter 1:4-9 (The Amplified New Testament) “God has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that you may escape from the moral decay that is in the world and become sharers of His divine nature. Employ every effort in exercising your faith to develop virtue (excellence, Christian energy) . . . develop knowledge (intelligence) . . . develop self-control . . . develop steadfastness (patience) . . . develop godliness, . . . develop brotherly affection, . . . develop Christian love.” No wonder r an uneducated fisherman, right from a boat on the Sea of Galilee, wrote that and all the religious scholars were surprised that Peter could write those words, much less think them. Selfish humans exert unkind, “I’m not going to help you” attitudes, because “I have been given this job and I know the codes that you don’t know, but I will look mean, and talk mean, to show you I have no respect for you. And you can’t make me help you.”An arrogance is displayed that even their own peers sense but cannot penetrate. Today is one day in a four-day holiday. The entire city of Arusha has shut down except for a few people who will not help. It’s a holiday. Therefore, holiday means “a break from being nice.” From 8:30 A.M. until 4:00 P.M., I have personally encountered seven such people, but I have had four delightful, helpful, caring, human beings, Ninja, Nelson, Karume, and an unknown petrol station manager be there for me. I have asked God to bless them only as He can do so well for their time and benevolence. Kindness did not go on holiday for those four men. God’s Word has spoken to me, also, telling me what I must do to represent Him. I have been told that I am not too old to develop in areas of my life that needs work.
