I love music, I always have... While working, I love to have music playing. When sawing, sanding, cutting, its often music with some rhythm, but when Im sat still and concentrating hard: on carving or sculpting or wood burning, it has to be peaceful. Peaceful and life affirming. I feel strongly that whatever space Im in, and whatever is within and around me, is woven somehow into the pieces that I create....a little bit of all of it, becomes a part of what I make. Im always looking for new music, and this is one of my favourites at the moment. Deceptively simple, and yet powerful. Give yourself ten minutes and some space to listen to it - its worth it.
