I love my children so much. They have both really made me so proud. I just skyped with Britteni and Dusty at 3:30 am....And John-Michael made some crazy delicious home-made banana nut bread for me and Brad. I am so proud of Britteni too. She is doing so well in her freshman year of college too. I love that moment....and it happened for my own children and the children I have taught over the years.....the moment it hits them that college requires so much dedication and work.....I love the moment they realize it, and then, make up their minds that they want it bad enough to put in that study time. That same work ethic and dedication goes into my family and students who become military men and women. They make up their minds that they want it. Then, they dig in and earn it. I want to say another special word of encouragement to my friends, who, like me, decided to go back to school and fulfill a dream they may have delayed to raise their families and be a great mom or dad. (worth it) For all the friends who are going back to school, I salute you. Go get your dream.
