I love my daughter, Kyle Linkous, very much ... and to my friend in Minnesota, Brian Lease ... Thank you both for nominating me to participate in the ice water challenge for ALS. Kyle, you know I am someone who would absolutely do this (and Brian, you know me pretty well now), but you know the cause that is near to my heart and, as such, where my dollars go, too. While ALS is a terrible disease and worthy of attention, I have already immersed myself in ice water. I participated in the Ice/Cold Water Challenge back in June to bring attention to Neurofibromatosis (NF) in an effort to raise awareness and money for the Childrens Tumor Foundation (CTF).
