I love my friends and my family. They have put up with so much of me for all these years, and have allowed me to finally find a life of mine that I am extremely proud of. Ive always throughout my life had crazy whacky ideas, and I always tried or investigated my ideas and have gone into them blindly and failed, or hit home runs. From wanting to join the navy, moving to Virginia, hiking the AT, booking hundreds and hundreds of shows, some festivals, among other things with a cloudy mind on creating some sort of social beauty for everyone to enjoy. Music has been an awful friend, and a best friend. If you dont take risks you will never succeed, and Ive taken plenty of risks. Finally I have learned how to balance all of this and I feel I have finally succeeded in all my years of hard work. The reason? Because I dont feel empty. I feel generally happy. I still shut off some parts of my life and that will be a constant struggle until I figure it out but I am certainly on a direct path to success. Success is what you want it, its nothin else. Alaska has changed my life, and has been more to me then I even thought. What started as an opportunity to hit the reset button and see a really beautiful place, has simply turned into a passion and love for a beautiful state with absolutely beautiful people who are not just friends, but family for life. I miss all my friends and family back home an awful lot, and Im absolutely dying to share my new home in alaska with everyone from back home. From Rich to Alan to Nicholas or Justin. And everyone else. I am dying to show you all this wonderful place and Im dying to get back there. Even as I type this from a coffee shop in Maui, Im thinking of Alaska. Hope all you guys can come for a visit this summer. Got an amazing cabin in an amazing location. Mom, miss your crazy ass too. Nancy. Tarcy Im so proud of you and your family and I miss you guys and wish we could all be closer, but Alaska was made for me. And I am attaching myself to this state at the perfect time. ALASKA class of 14....this is gonna be a special year homies!
