I love my home. Conversation with my son and I this evening following an epically failed first attempt at ironing a shirt (it honestly looked worse than when he started) Me: whatre you doing? Kelly: ironing another shirt. (he had to set the board and iron up again) Me: really? Kelly: youre no help! Me: what setting is the iron on? Kelly: Im not sure it was o. The first time (smh) 10 minutes later (did I mention it was just one shirt?): Kelly: its gonna have to do! (Emerges from the kitchen) Me: really? Dyou iron it with a belt sander? Kelly: F@&k you dad! Youre no help! Me: keep wearing shirts like that and youll be single longer than expected. Kelly: sulks off to the bathroom to look in the mirror. UGGHH!!! (Emerges from bathroom and puts jacket on) Me: guess youll be wearing the jacket all night, huh? Kelly: probably! (Sulks into the kitchen) love you Dad! (Off in to the night) Sometimes its the little victories.
