I love my kids but I HATE parenting. Thats it. The counselor has given us the tactic. Time out for every minute year old they are shut in the laundry room. I tried to explain that in VT we give choices and calm down time. Basically calm down time and choices are for sissies here in the Bible Belt. So game on. I cant even imagine what my father or mother would have done if I even dreamed of treating them with the extreme disrespect that is thrown my way from my kids at times. Makes me think I must be the worst parent in the world or society is totally messing up our kids.
