I love my new cardiologist beyond words (awright, you know thats a lie). She is a microbiologist at heart and believes deeply in functional food, or food as medicine. She spoke privately with me for ONE FULL HOUR and didnt look at her watch once. We will be exploring in depth the connection between a number of (mostly minor) symptoms I am having and feels as though many of them, while seemingly unrelated, are moving in tandem. We will be checking nutrient levels in my cells with specialized tests, having a new stress test, checking for yeast/candida issues, and testing for gluten sensitivity. I have an extensive reading list. She has my oncology teams phone number and will be working closely with them as well. Home freaking run, people!
