I love our city more every day! It has consistently risen above neighboring towns by thinking outside the box. To manage a town like Columbus takes a unique effort because the target is always moving and being upwardly redefined. There are going to be bumps in the road. Sometimes big bumps! There are going to be armchair quarterbacks who will be naysayers one day, and then go on with their life the next. Honestly, I greatly admire Kristen Brown for Mayor of Columbus, Indiana. When I witness her in the public arena, I have not a doubt that she has the overall best interest of our citizens at the forefront of her mind. Both she and her detractors could probably admit that they could be gentler, better communicators at times! But I am proud of her dedication to the job! I feel lucky to have someone with her intelligence and tenacity watching the citys back as she does. I think she has been a great mayor, and I back her 100%.
