I love podcasts. Around this time one year ago, I made a post here on the page about how much I love podcasting. One year later and my love for it has multiplied by ten times. It was also one year ago today that the first ever episode of Chris Jerichos “Talk is Jericho” podcast debuted, and Ive listened to every episode. Even the non-wrestling ones, because Im a such big fan of Jericho that I enjoy anything he puts out. Same goes with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Jim Ross. Both have such great podcasts each week and I love listening to them, not matter how long they may be. That said, this past week was one of if not the greatest week in wrestling podcast history, or at least to my memory. Last week, Jericho sat down with Seth Rollins for an awesome interview, Stone Cold talked with Bray Wyatt for an interesting two-parter, and lets not forget CM Punk breaking his silence on Colt Cabanas podcast on Thanksgiving Thursday! This is all in addition to Stone Cold sitting down with Vince McMahon for a #WWENetwork exclusive podcast on Monday night and all the other podcasts breaking it down. Its been a really fun week for podcasts. And the art of recording a podcast is so much fun to me. I still conduct interviews over the phone at times, but sitting down with someone to talk wrestling or whatever makes the experience that much more real. Ill be looking to do more of that in the new year. So, when people ask me what podcasts they should check out, I respond with Stone Colds, Jerichos and J.R.s, along with “Solomonster Sounds Off” and “The Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast” (both are professionally fan-run). You may not need to listen to all of them as I do (I spend, on average, 11 hours a week listening to them all; just cant get enough!) Speaking of which, Ill be posting a video EXCLUSIVE to this Facebook page with my thoughts on Punks two-part podcast with Cabana. I wasnt able to go in-depth as I wouldve liked on WrestleRant Radio this past Tuesday, so Ill be breaking it all down in an upcoming video. Be on the lookout for that!
