I love slow mail. Im in love with language, words, written on paper. So writing a love letter is one of the best things you can do if you have a girlfriend/boyfriend. Social media has made it so easy, maybe too easy, to connect with people that it makes everything, maybe everyone, insignificant. Everyone connects with anyone anywhere, people send messages fast and expect fast replies. Same thing with relationships nowadays; get a crush on the first few days, ask them out, start dating, fall out, break up and within a few weeks get another crush. Writing takes time, writing takes effort to perfect. Love also takes time, and handling a relationship takes effort to perfect. Instead of trying to achieve milestones quickly in your relationship, why not try slowing things down a little? Enjoy the present, the future isnt here until tomorrow. Maybe stop instant messaging for a day; instead do an exchange journal. Spend more time talking for real, instead of texting every hour. Start communicating more organically, instead of relying on techonology. The most common relationship problems can be solved with better communication.
