I love talking with other filmmakers in the business about my holographic film, currently in production. Its not what filmmaking is about. What I wrote: Frank I respectfully have to disagree with you, because you and every film biz owner knows, if the public wants it and you build it, they will come. When I go to the movies to watch my favorite sci-fi, I want the gimmicks, I want to be wowed and Im in the business. When I plunk down my $20 bucks, I want lots of eye candy and that film better deliver or it wont do well at the box office. Come on, Im an independent and I know that. Im looking into my crystal ball and I can see that real interactive filmmaking will happen, dont be surprised when it shows up in the gaming industry first. Im a series gamer as well as filmmaker and the lines between game style and film style are blurring. (Tell me you havent noticed?) To do this production, I had to learn game making techniques. Say what you want, movie viewer expectations are evolving because gaming has become more filmatic and now viewers expect films to be more game like.
