I love that Wild Women Theatre happened during a Mineral Year (2014). Mineral Element: A look at year “2014”The information age has taken pretty much over most of our lives. We are hooked to more devices than we can ever think of. And everywhere the world is buzzing with stories. If your bones are rattling and stories are gushing out your pores, know the mineral spirit is speaking to and through you. For there is an open invitation to look deep within our core and into the soul of the world to see what stories need to be released and which new ones need to enter our life. If you are not familiar with the Dagara system, here are a few words that describe the core of the year. Mineral is about the bones, stones, gems, various minerals, community, networking, memory, remembering and connection. It is the home of the artist, the storyteller that bridges the heaven and the earth through myth, symbols, images, metaphors and stories. Mineral gives us structure and enable us to communicate and share information with one another.
