I love the fact that some of us never lose faith or give up! I love israel for it, and i love our people! With all that I find it strange we are suddenly thinking of aligning ourselves with the Saudi regime and their peace initiative. Saudi is staunchly antisemitic and does not allow a Jew to live on its soil. Our redemption and our peace will come from them??? We are so desperate and fed up with wars so much so we are prepared to deal with the devil in disguise. Lets first normalize relationship with Saudi and build exchanges and cooperation ( economic cultural) before entering into suicidal political partnerships. Let us hear from them that they represent that moderate , peace-loving Islam that does not believe in converting the rest of the world or subjugating it to sharia law. Let them lift the banner of true tolerance , inclusion, acceptance freedom for other cultures and faiths. Let them renege on their Wahhabist ideology, then We could seriously begin to trust their peace initiative. Till then I am afraid we are just treading water. Still ....... Nothing wrong with talking!! Talking is cheap!
