I love the films of Wes Anderson, and the Cohen Brothers, with Anderson being my top pic based solely on the cinematic delight that I experienced from The Royal Tennanbaums, and Moonrise Kingdom, two of my favorite films. So I was stoked to find out that both directors had new movies out. However, I was surprised to find that Inside Llewyn Davis was far superior to the Grand Budapest Hotel, imo. Llewtn is darker, a bit on the depressing side compared to Andersons typical whimsy, but I found myself engaged with the film until the credits rolled at the end. Ironically much more action takes place on Budapest, but I found it to be somewhat tiresome, and not nearly as delicious as his movies usually are. Oh well, just my thoughts.
