I love the medical/physical therapy knowledge I have gained - TopicsExpress

I love the medical/physical therapy knowledge I have gained throughout my life. I am able to help so many people who have been told by doctors that they will just have to live with the pain they are experiencing. Everything from helping someone with chronic neck pain/headaches to a lady who shattered her pelvis/femur. Each of these people to include myself had been misdiagnosed or mislead by a group of doctors who thought they were doing what is right for their patients. However after spending 10 years in the medical field, 8 years in Crossfit, and many many years getting hurt I have discovered the fundamental flaw in what our doctors are taught, common sense. Thanks to Kelly Starrett and his amazing Mobility Wod project i have been able to assist so many people it is crazy. This post was brought about by the doctors telling me that my unbearable hamstring pain is the cause of degenerative disk disease and facet syndrome. Instead today after purposely going out and running (the action that causes the most pain the fastest) and then doing a little research I have found that my pain is linked to my biceps femoris muscle. I will begin to beat the crap out of it following Mobility Wod and without a doubt I will be better in weeks. So to all of my friends please help apply common sense in your medical life. Dont expect doctors to know it all, you need to understand your body and come to them with information. If you are not informed you will seldom get better. No one knows your body as well as you do. ~Rant over
