I love the mini series, A Band of Brothers, the story of the 101st - TopicsExpress

I love the mini series, A Band of Brothers, the story of the 101st or the very first Airborne..and still the greatest offensive ever launched in any war. Some of their tactics are still taught today. But BUT we did not do these deeds till it was forced upon us. We did not enter WW2 until our own shores and our own citizens were attacked. I love the movie Patton, and what a terrible end to a great warrior he was. But he said, They say a hero is he who dies for his country ( and I too agree). But he went on to say, I think a hero is one who makes the others die for their country. I also agree here. If we wait in this nuclear age, as we did with Pearl Harbor the outcome will be most grievous. As they say, hind sight is 20/20, but so many would not live to see it as with Pearl Harbor, but multiplied many times over. The worst enemy we have, is our ideologies about who we are have changed dramatically which I assert started during the 60s when we threw God out of public schools and every since we have been throwing him out of everything else ACLU wanted. To Hell with the ACLU. Time for America again to become, because we are not now, the United States of America. Succession some are hollering will never help any collective. During the WW2 men that were declared not healthy for war were devastated, some committing suicide, yes Americans, because they felt failure in helping their country succeed in war that mattered to them. Today we are all like the Laodocian Church seemingly fat and happy, need no one..let some one else go fight the war....and our pick, Syria..are you kidding me? There has not been the ideology of living in this country for God, country, Chevrolet and apple pie in far too long. Chevrolet even became one of the most corrupt companys we now have. I love that we still have a few good men in politics, but as I said, few, too few. I love that Mike Huckebee is a Christian man. He also believes in the Second Amendment. He is a gun totter, but says I dont love guns, but believes that they are a necessary commodity in a well balanced society. I agree. He even posts Bible verses to stand alone, not with any political agenda he has. But he does that too. His agenda is a good one. He even makes children s cartoon DVDs to teach about the faith our founding fathers had and the true cost of freedom, we have long lost. He, as many know, is former governor of Arkansas. He does much good, as do others like George Bush former president. He may well run for office come 2016. But I think with his strong Christian views, and the whole being strong against them, or at least too many to stand up and be counted..yes..that is my belief...weak Christians...as it said of some Pharisees, they believed in Jesus but kept quiet for fear of being kicked out of the Synagogue. And 2 Tm 1:7 assures us fear is never from God. But because that is becoming a majority view should he get voted in, he, like Bush, will, no doubt at all, be met with much opposition, from the media, lobbyist, Hollywood rich, CEOs of conglomerates, EPA, Global Warming advocates, Atheistist idiots and ACLU...that is just a touch of the defense he will face. His offense, is right now the minority of our country, the called of God to be a peculiar people who should never have become homogenized with the world, but certainly did. It is almost impossible to pic a Christian out of any public crowd today...and unfortunately that can be true in many churches..ouch...yes..ouch....if God were to ask who is willing to stand in the gap today, would you, yes you, be a one? We need many who would. Oh we have a few that do and to those, thank you. But far to few to sway the commanding complacent Officials we have. To confess Christianity is suppose to mean you are a game changer, not a Christian mingles group..no pun intended. But I love puns. I love, more though, a group of Christians who know, as the 3 Hebrews of the book of Daniel did, that no matter what the world does to them we are Gods priest called to tell a dying world it needs him. Too few willing to undergo the public scrutiny to do so. So where will we be, Christians, when the Armageddon Battle begins? If you are a Christian you know its coming, you know these are the last days of this dispensation of Grace and you know the whole of the Bible will come to pass. Or you are no Christian at all. You know sometimes the truth is just a hard pill to swallow. But sometimes it takes that to wake up a sleeping giant, which is what I believe the American Church of Jesus Christ is. Able to step out in faith under girded by the Holy Spirit himself. But we let the world creep in our door, and we are duped into thinking we are a part of them, so we must look out for the worldly welfare, instead of trying to impose the godly ideology, which is the only that will turn this nation around. So I fear it will no longer turn around, but the greater question remains. Where will you be when that day comes? God bless all my friends. God make them a mighty army that is not afraid to proclaim the name Jesus in the midst of an arena full of lions who would only jeer at them. Then they will know they did what Ezekiel was told, be the watchman. The time to give account will come. And it, as the Bible says, is closer then you think.
