I love the process of getting new repertoire- the feeling of new music in my hands- that first listen anticipation- the excitement- fear of that one godawful part- the diction- oh... oh diction- *insert laugh* I love it. Every time I get a new piece, the inner cobra in me cant wait to unhinge my musical jaw, and devour the entire melodic morsel whole- only to let it digest for days- weeks- before I can sing it with my eyes closed. Yes. New music is yummy. Hehe. . . That escalated quickly!
