I love the things I find that are uniquely Austin. For example, Cuvee Coffee Roasting Company. They make coffee thats locally roasted in Austin. Ok, Spicewood, but still... Its locally (to me) produced coffee. And its awesome. Ive only had the Spicewood 71 from them and Im looking forward to trying more. I have a goal of setting up a coffee battle station at home on the bar in the kitchen and, after some considered research, Im making Cuvee my go-to brand for the auto drip, pour-over, French press and the AeroPress. We also have a Keurig, but thats more of a quick caffeine fix machine. I have a proper burr grinder on the way, a metal filter for the AeroPress from ABLE, and I oredered 3 different varieties of Cuvee on the way (Brazil Fazenda Pantano; Caffe Medici, La Famiglia; and El Salvador Santa Rita Peaberry.) I only ordered the coffee instead of going to the store due to my vampiric work schedule. If yall thought I was serious about coffee before, yall aint seen nothin yet. Remember, I do, after all, have a caffeine molecule tattooed on my shoulder.... Check out this video about their Black and Blue. Its a cold brew, nitrogenated coffe thats on tap. I have so got to try this. Its also available in Dallas at a joint called Oddfellows. cuveecoffee/black-blue-locations/ And for any locals that read/watch this, their new joint will be at 2000 e. 6th, not on 7th like the video says. #CuveeEastside
