I love the way Jesus carried Himself while walking planet earth. A few of my favorite characteristics of His—translated into commonly understood jargon would be: 1. Pick your punches: He always waked in wisdom and knew which battles to fight and which ones to avoid. 2. Dont defend yourself: Many times, people came at Jesus in an attempt to make Him answer to their accusations disguised as questions. They wanted Him to defend Himself. Never did He cave to the pressure. 3. There is only one opinion that matters: Jesus was driven by the leading and the opinion of His Father. He loved people extravagantly, but He was never swayed by what people thought He ought to do. (People were able to draw things out of Him, but only what was already congruent with the opinion of the Father.) I highly recommend we adopt all 3, but remember, the common thread in each of these characteristics, is relational intimacy with God. Peace and love, Jeremy
