I love this. As a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I think that I see this issue from an interesting perspective. I have been a member for almost 4 years now, and let me tell you, it has been the happiest years of my life. These years have been thought provoking, educational, inspiring and transforming times. But one thing that has been extremely influential to me, is the way that I am treated by the Church leaders and members alike. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints loves their women, and that is very evident. I have never been mistreated or looked down on, but in fact, I have felt cherished... For the first time in my life, I feel comfortable about being myself, I feel happy and loved for who I am. It seems as though the church and its leaders have actually seen more potential in me, than I had seen in myself... I have been shown compassion, respect and love, in everything that they have done for me. I have been treated as a beautiful Daughter of God...
