I love this article and SO agree with it. Babies need to hear their parents read to them. They develop an ear for the English language beginning in the womb. Rhythm, cadence, and pauses help them to acclimate to the sounds of verbal speech and is the a huge part in bonding. Those hours of reading and rocking my babies made wonderful memories. If you have children, they NEVER get too old to read to them...not even junior high kids. LOL!
