I love this band. I always did. - TopicsExpress

I love this band. I always did. https://youtube/watch?v=nUtZ2J6rNDw I saw them on some show listed with underground bands in California. I reacted as like, this cant be true. Steely Dan playing with underground bands? But for some reason I thought it also could be true also, because I sort of re-set those trends in 2006, where a celebrity can play in a basement in the crack ghetto, or in a dive bar. But they wanted to play there, I didnt put a gun to their head. So I thought it could be true, but then I looked at it, and it does not look like it is true. The page said, it is just a joke. I would love to see Steely Dan though in a dive basement show, with underground bands that are great. If those underground bands suck, I would not like to see it, but I would like to see Steely Dan in a dive bar. That would be great if Chevy sat in, for a song or something also. That would be happening man. That would be a world-wide event, just like I tried to bring to the world, to the table, in 2006, but it was stomped down in 2008. I forgot Steely Dan existed, until I saw this show thing flyer on fb. But I like them from way back in the late 90s, I had their cassette tapes and I used to listen to them. I tried to cover a couple of their songs back then also, on guitar. I forgot about them for quite some time. It is that sort of band. I do care about this band though, but for me, they are so easy to forget about, so often, with media over-saturation. But now I remember them again, and they are great. Im glad there are at least one or two or a few bands out there, somewhere, that are worth something, and that are great, and that still mean that dreams could still be possible or something, in the future, despite all the odds stacked against people, places, & things. Imagine seeing Rick James in a dive bar, in the 70s or something. It could be something like that, still out there, somewhere, or something, still living in the cracks in the ghetto, trying for something great. I have no respect for human life at all, but Chevy & Steely Dan can still get me in the mood, here & there. But I dont think about them, often at all, with this media inundation. Im flooded man. My brain has been flooded.
