I love this classic Gloucester City Photo.. It was taken at he North East Corner of King and Monmouth in 1885, 130 years ago. This building was lost several years ago.. At this time the building was a pharmacy owned by Dr. William Wamsley. In the photo.. Dr. Tomlinson, on the front step, On the extreme left, Ike Marple, Chief of police, William J. Haley, the Pharmacist, (he later became a physician) Policeman Jim Lenny standing by the tree with a sign in front of him, Group on the steps, Dr. and Mrs. Wamsley and their children, William Jr. and Clair in the tricycle. and of course Dr. Wamsleys faithful horse Jerry hitched to the buggy. If you collect Gloucester City Photos, this is a keeper
