I love this comment that was posted in response to the democrats request for "atheist chaplains" ...whatever that is? Oxymoron? "It seems that Rep. Polis is unaware of the truism that in a combat situation “there’s no such thing as an atheist in a fox hole.” Apparently someone needs to explain to our elected representatives that the First Amendment states “freedom of religion”, not “freedom from religion”. I would like to remind my fellow countrymen (and women) that elections have consequences. We get the politicians we deserve in office. A politician that messes around with our God given rights, like the First Amendment, particularly as it applies to our troops who are in harm’s way, need to be voted out of office. I understand that the DOD, in their continuing quest to be “politically correct”, has forbidden military (Christian) chaplains from ending their prayers in Jesus’ name”. The DOD is also appointing Muslim chaplains with Wahhabi ties to known terrorist groups, or affilated with terrorist groups. Astonishing."
