I love this great land.... I thank God every day I live in the USA I know some of you are offended or bored with my political views and my quest to share truth on line. You know that Im often disgusted with our political leaders....Their views but not necessarily them personally. LET ME SHARE WHY: MY ancestors came to America to seek religious freedom ,for a better life. Some were just adventurous . Some owned slaves, some opposed slaves. I have ggggrand father who was a Baptist reverend for the Republic of Texas. A METHODIST minister from France ancestors who formed a church under the shade of an oak tree south of lake texoma . My husbands ancestors were indians who walked the trail of tears, others who traveled the mormon pioneer trails. My 3 g aunt sat on Sam Houstons lap and remembered camping (living) in a tent and eating buffalo meat with her family as the state Capitol of Austin was developing. Her daddy helped shape the texas govt. She remembered as a child fleeng from santa anna and the sound of canon fires in the distant as they left Brazoria. She was the first president of the daughters of Republic of Texas. I have 3 generations of sheriffs during the gun slinging Days who served on the Texas border. I have viking heritage. I have a great heritage and truly believe this is the promised land given by Divine Providence. Do I believe in ILLEGAL immigration..absolutely NOT. Do I believe in immigration through legal process to keep disease and threats out of this great country..Absolutely. We all have a story..we are all from immigrants and it is our Civil and Christian duty to be aware of and protect this nation...preferably thru prayer and love than canons and bullets. My patriotism is strongly rooted and pulses through my veins. My ancestors fought in every war and some shed blood so I could have freedom to sleep in a soft bed and live with running water, go to church only to sit in a soft chair with air conditioning, drive a car and not walk barefooted to the local market, take sick kids to the doctor and not have to watch them die. ...forts of life and other golden calves we as a society sometimes forget we worship. I remember 911 and I remember every single day that wars rage in our world and soldiers from all walks of life fight for freedom, their families, religion and the pursuit of happiness. Just want you to understand my passion for politics and truth. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS THIS COUNTRY AS WE STRIVE TO DO OUR PART AND CONTINUE BEING ONE NATION UNDER GOD.
