I love this lady! She has YouTube videos that teach how to do just about anything you would need to know to take care of yourself off the grid. She is known as Misty Prepper and Misty Cluck. She is also on Facebook. She grew up like so many of us but, several years ago, Misty and her husband made the decision to live a simpler life. She is not Amish but calls herself a modest dressing Christian. They have four children and her husband is 100% disabled. They are living on a little over $700 a month! They live without electricity and raise their own food. They have been without a car since January when, the transmission on a van they had just purchased, when out and they didnt have the money to fix it. If she needed groceries, she had to walk to town. That led to a heat stroke. Not long after that, she broke her foot. It has been one thing after another for them. For her to reach this point and ask for help had to be the most difficult thing she has ever had to do in her life. She believes in standing on her own feet and taking care of her family. She originally asked for $3000 but several people encouraged her to increase her request so she could get a more reliable car. She increase it to $5000 and is now at $7730. God is smiling on Misty! If you find it in your heart to help her out, I know she would appreciate it. She is in awe at how many have stepped up to help her. I have seen donations as low as $10 and as high as $100. Everyone is singing her praises as they give what they can. Hope you can help.....
