I love this song, and its message! We live in a world where society would have us believe that our worth and our value as a human being, is synonymous with our own outward beauty. This is most especially true for women. There is so much pressure for women to be thin and beautiful. Everyone wants to feel valued and accepted; and too often the female population (both women and particularly young girls) are led to believe the best way to feel that acceptance is to use her body. How very, very sad! Women have so much more to offer this world than their own physical beauty! Too often we forget that our greatest attributes come from within. If we put as much focus and energy on our talents and strengths as we did on our outward beauty, what would the world look like today? My guess is that it would look a whole lot more beautiful!
