I love this years baseball HOF class. I was fortunate to see all of these great pitchers dominate in the era of the hitter. I used to be fairly certain all these guys were clean. Given how things have shaken out, its hard to say now. Im not super anti-steroid anyway, unless the roided up player is a giant a-hole, like Bonds or Clemens sized... I only saw Smoltz once or twice -- thanks interleague play! -- but I saw Johnson a fair amount and Pedro a lot, all of them in their primes. It was magic. Johnson was a freak of nature. He looked as big as the first baseman even though he was further away from the awesome seats we got from season ticket holders that would spend their summers on the cape -- Thanks Savenors! There are so many reasons to love Pedro Martinez, and I have so many great memories, but this is somehow the first thing that popped to mind.
