I love to offer good bait that makes people raise their hands and say, “Carrie, I want to do business with you or I at least want to know more about what you have to offer.” I refer to this as Magnetic List Building. The reason I call it that is because I always prefer to draw people to me. I would rather attract and not attack, something I learned year and years ago. It has a much better stick rate. It is a much better relationship if they come to you willingly instead of you tackling them or chasing them down. I think I learned that in fifth grade with boys. (Shhh, please don’t mention that to my mom.)
