I love to read and reflect on public discourse. People say funny things. One of the funniest, to me, is when someone says, it needed to be said. Ive noticed that this phrase almost always follows a statement that, frankly, did not need to be said. Below are some examples of things that ACTUALLY WOULD need to be said: - This building is on fire. - That child is drowning. - Ringo Starr doesnt get enough respect for his drumming skills. - That dog bites. - Pull over. Im going to get sick. - I love my mom. - I love you. Examples of things that may be interesting, may even be important, but do not qualify for this needs to be said. - Anything heard on cable news or talk radio. - Anything that belittles another. - This post.
