I love to work. I love my job of creating memories for my clients, my friends. The last week of my dads life, I worked hard...I was trying to get caught up so he and I could leave town the next week to go prop shopping. My dad loved to work and he loved helping. He taught me to work and to work hard...He came by the studio several times the last week to see how he could help me. I had to cut our visits short Bc of work. The last time I saw him was Friday, 24 hours before he moved to Heaven. He picked up merchandise for the Prop Shop and made arrangements for a UHaul for Round Top while he was there. My client came in and I hugged him, told him I loved him and Id call him later. The next day, I worked and then text him that evening when I was finished. I didnt call him. If I had called him, maybe I would have heard his heart failing....we just text...and then the call came. If I had known, Id give back the money I made that day, that month, this lifetime, to not have had to cut our visits short. I dont have an assistant anymore and Im working by appointment only...Please know that I am here for YOUR MEMORIES AND YOUR FAMILIES...I love to work. I love my job of creating memories for your family. It is even more important to me now than ever...Portrait memories are TREASURES!!!Someday, it will be all that is left.
